Dean hadn't talked to anyone yet today as it was before his classes so he gave into the impulse to call Meg and see how she was doing. If he had realized? He so totally had stayed away from the phone today.

Meg managed to reach over and pick up her phone off the coffee table without taking her eyes off the TV or falling off the couch. That took skill.

"Hi! I'm not studying even though I should be," she said as soon as she picked up the phone.

She raised an eyebrow. That was weird.

"That's okay," Dean said. "I like to pretend I never study because it totally destroys my rep, but I actually do because learning is actually kinda fun." He paused. "What the hell?"
