I've been watching the news, trying to get a handle on what happened to the people in the hotel. Hallucinations of people's biggest fear, which they have now taken to talking about on the news. That's all the gas did. Of course, it was enough to kill a few people and although, I hate to make assumptions, the gas is clearly related to the young blonde's killing spree.
Do you have a gun? It might help you feel more secure to keep one on you at all times.

I... am sure there's someone down here who could teach you how to use one, or a weapon of some kind. Not necessarily a gun. Self defense should probably be taught to everyone who falls through the Rift. I will have to write that down and look into it.

No, I don't have a gun. I never learned to use one - I was on the beat at home, we weren't allowed firearms.
I'm... fine. I was terrified out of my mind and still feel a bit sick from it all, but it's nothing I can't handle. What about you?
