Long overdue. But massive.
For all the lovelies over at thedressingroom:
First off, I'd like to thank each and every mun that has ever done a thread with any of my characters (That would be this Kurt, is_rainbows way back when, my Rachel itsmyparade, and my Glee OC Lizzy abitdizzy, and also mini!Kurt littlestrainbow [Edit: Okay, and also my AUs organicspells, rebalanced, stilltinkerbell]). Thank you for making my TDR experience wonderful, right from the very start. And I'd also like to apologize to anyone I've ever dropped threads on. I have never once dropped a thread because I disliked where it was going or because I didn't like the character, or any such nonsense. The only times I've done so is when I either get writer's block (which is usually the case when I drop), or it just honest-to-god gets lost in my gmail inbox, or I just feel overwhelmed with the current state of my gmail inbox.
Enough with my excuses though. That's not what this is about. This is about sending recognition to all the wonderful writers in TDR that deserve it! (Well, you all pretty much deserve it, but it would take me forever to write lovenotes to all of you. It's taken me over a week a month[!] to get this one done! XD) SO. Without further ado...!
frankengleek - first and foremost. You know I adore your Finn, you have him nailed down so perfectly. I've played with other Finns before, but yours is the best, hands-down. We've been playing our Finn and Kurt together for, oh... goodness, at least five months? [Edit: Six months, as of the time I'm actually finishing this post up, they just past their six-month anniversary! ♥] And I will never, ever get tired of doing so. Your Finn is the perfect blend of adorably derpy, charmingly and accidentally sweet, and just... There's so many facets to him, you've put so much into him. In my opinion, you write him better than the actual writers do. You put more consideration into him. ♥ And I know we had some anxious moments watching new episodes as they air [Edit: And now while waiting for new bf-chan to be announced, urk.], but you have to admit that every single time it's worked in their favor so far. And you know why? Because it's fate. They are, pretty much, soul mates. One word: Vermont. (And Rachel is totally his gay beard fag hag. ♥)
perving - keep in mind this is from my Kurt and also my Rachel (itsmyparade). My Kurt's previous experiences with different Pucks have been just kind of lame. He would most often walk away rolling his eyes, and that would be the end of the thread. But all of the interaction these two have had together? (Including organicspells.) Effing hilarious. (Puckerone and the Homo Explosion, for instance. XDDD) And I love that your Puck is even more willing to attempt to be friends with Kurt now that he knows Finn and Kurt are dating. Again, I think you write Puck even better than the actual writers do, though this probably attributes a lot to all of the Character Development he's gotten in TDR, huh? Oh, and with Rachel? You know I started shipping Puckleberry after 'Bad Reputation', but your Puck has made me ship it even harder. They are adorable together. And it's reassuring to know that my Rachel will pretty much always have at least one person to fall back on in TDR - your Puck. :)
quinnthequeen - oh boy, our Kurt and Quinn have had ups and downs. But I have to admit we did throw rather a lot at her, didn't we? Two Finns dating Kurt (at different times), and also Abby confessing to her. And then the Nolan and Lizzy drama. And then the Puck and Rachel drama. The poor dear has probably been through as much in canon as she has in TDR! But I want you to know that I effing adore their friendship, and I'm so, so glad they've managed to reconcile. Thanks for putting up with some of our crazy story lines, and for being such a consistent Quinn in TDR right from the beginning. We're glad to have you around, bb. ♥ Keep sticking around, more epic times are in store, I'm sure of it!
dancnwithmyself - Your Artie! ♥ I adore him. He's so very spot-on, and I love, love, love that you've remained so consistent with him posting in TDR this season. [Edit: Although... you seem to have disappeared over the summer, fff!] I'm so glad to have such a great Artie with us in TDR. Our Kurt and Artie threads are always both cute and amusing, and I pretty much adore their friendship. I really hope you'll continue to stick around and play with us in TDR now that the season is over! [Edit: Hopefully you'll be back next season! Your Artie is A+!]
cheerio_quinn - Oh, your Quinn is so much love. ♥ I'm not sure if you know, but I also played is_rainbows back in the day. And I adored their friendship back then, and I adore her friendship with this Kurt now. Keep being amazing, darling, and I hope you continue to stick around with us now that the season is over! ♥
nonervousness - Psst, you're my favorite Jesse. :) We were majorly bummed about the slaughter of Jesse's characterization in 'Funked' - but when you brought him into TDR, it seemed to us we could understand things a little better about him. And we're so happy that you were there to do that for us. Your Jesse is absolutely amazing. (And his and Finn's (frankengleek) newfound awkward-friendship is just hilarious.)
gleemeister - Uhm, yeah, you're our favorite Mr. Schuester. Just so you know.

bitofaneurosis - Thank you for consistently being Kurt's fag hag, even with my horrible tendency to drop threads. ;;; I absolutely adore their friendship, and through all the story lines and headcanon we've put them through, Abby probably has a higher place in his heart than even his canon hags! I think Abby is such a well thought-out character, and to be honest a type of character I think canon is seriously lacking. They need a skittish bookworm character, to help pull out of her shell. And for her to have a crush on one of the canon girls? Would probably be a pretty damn awesome storyline, too!
msperfectday - Lani is sweet and adorable, and we (er, myself and two other of the Glee RPers in TDR) want to let you know that we adore her. She's a character with a specific background, which we always love to see with OCs. We always enjoy threads/posts with her, and we hope you'll stick around with us now that season 1 is over!
captainforward - I hope that we haven't run you off, because I honestly think Nolan is a great OC. He's got a specific position in Glee canon and you can actually picture him there. His personality is complex, and well thought out, which is something else that's always refreshing to see in OCs. I really do think his intentions were misunderstood, and my Lizzy (abitdizzy) didn't help that matter any. But she's not an easy girl to handle - she's too self-conscious, finds it too hard to believe that anyone could like her. So of course in her head it was obvious that Nolan never really liked her, and simply found her as a substitute. OOCly, we know this isn't the case. And I, for one, would love to see more posts for him in TDR again.
