So, this is a commercial from an evil power company in NZ, but they use the oh-so-cute pukeko in it! I haven't seen many of these guys, but they are all over the country apparently. I would love to see big, bright blue chicken-like things bopping around my backyard. There is also a more recent ad on tv in which a pukeko walks into a human house

I need to change from Genesis. We've talked about it a bit but haven't actually done it yet. I do love the commercials, the Pukes are cute. You don't see many down where you are? They are everywhere here, mostly in the paddocks but there is a family along the Northwestern Motorway that we see often when we go to work. We see them in parks often too, they seem to have done well with adapting to humans being around. Funniest thing was seeing a pukeko standing on a garbage can in Rotorua and hooking stuff out and dropping it for the others on the ground.
