So, our roommate, Jeri, made the big leap. She bought herself a Mini Cooper S. Here's what it looks like:
Of course, every good vehicle deserves a name. The gold bulk of an SUV that Gail bought as a "family car" is nicknamed Big Bitch. My silver diesel Jetta, as I killed it several times in the process of learning to drive its manual transmission, became Frankenstein.
Now, Jeri has asked me to appeal to the LiveJournal hivemind for suggestions as to what to name her car. Several ideas have already been put forward, but we need one that fits the following qualifications:
1. It must accurately describe the automobile and/or its driver.
2. It must be something which Jeri can pronounce and will willingly admit to naming her car.
3. It must be something for which a vanity license plate bearing the name or a suitable abbreviation thereof can be purchased.
Some initial suggestions have been "Mini-Me," "Little Bit," "Tater Tot," "Buttercup," "Lemon Drop," "Chiquita," and "Half-Pint."
I was criticized for being "the creative one" and not being able to come up with a name. I can't help it if Jeri doesn't like "The Really Short Bus" (she graduated with a degree in psychology and recently worked as a case manager for people with special needs) or "Tinkle" (she just had to take her car in to the Mini Cooper/BMW dealership today because rain water was leaking into the car), now, can I?
So ... now, we turn to you, the readership of this oft-neglected LiveJournal, to advise us as to which name you think is best. Please vote in the poll! Every vote gets us closer to choosing a name!
