Mt. Airy Fire
On Sunday morning a large part of Historic Downtown Mt. Airy went up in flames and eventually collapsed.
There are many videos up at Youtube.com about it. Do a search for "Mt. Airy Fire" *sigh* We've only lived here a year, but its home, and this was devastating to the small, but historic, downtown area. -

The Last Day of Summer
Definitely not up for "Mother of the Year" ...again.
After an exceptionally crappy summer for my kids (we didn't go anywhere or really do much of anything due to circumstances) we finally made it to Hershey Park... the day before school started.

Found my new camera
When my camera was stolen last spring (March was it? Maybe even February...) I went into a long-standing period of mourning. I am now ready, however, to begin the search for a new camera. Don't have the $$ yet, but its not too far off. I have found the camera of my dreams.

We are in the throws of planning Alysha's 16th birthday. She's chosen a Luau theme. I've rented the place. I've secured a DJ. I need ideas for food and creative decorations.
