Er, he's a footballer so I don't think the rest of the world is really judging by his intelligence level. Have you heard of Wayne Rooney? Different football, but same level of brain I think.
*still has absolutely no idea where half the countries in the world are*
Geography was never my favourite subject. Too much colouring in. It was more the assumption that there are no black people in London that really amused me.
Gah, this is exactly why I have this impression many Americans don't have a clue about the world outside their own country. And this is even with all the smart & awesome American friends I have...
Hmm. It's the way they all call it "London England" that annoys me, as if it's (I dunno) Mobile Alabama or something - you have to tack the state on the end before anyone knows which one you're talking about. Look, American folkles, all your Londons are named after ours (and all your base are belong to us, come to that) so ours is just London, ok? Gah. Also y'know Birmingham Alabama? We started that one too. Cambridge Massachusetts? Ours. And Oxford, for the last bloody time, is NOT IN AMERICA argh.

It is vaguely annoying that people can't get their own place names and stop stealing ours.
