No, I haven't disappeared off the face of the Earth, I promise. :) It feels really odd not even going near my computer for 3 days when I'm not even on vacation or anything!

A funnel cake is a deep fried snack made by twirling batter into hot oil in a thin stream, so it forms kind of a funnel shape. Then when it comes out hot and crispy from the oil, you sprinkle it with powdered sugar and cinnamon. Mmmmm.
