Luffy's entusiasm doesn't go by unnoticed and he's a little concerned the other got into the hidden stores. The boat isn't THAT big it wouldn't take long for the other to find them. So he's hurrying down below when Luffy's angry shout stops him dead in his tracks for a moment.
