Day 16 - Favorite female character
There aren't very many good female characters in fiction. I'm struggling here. I thought Ayla was generally awesome in Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean Auel. But I went on to read the next four books in the series and I'm not sure she holds ( Read more... )

But what about any of the PH female characters? Or Raimei from Nabari no ou? Frances or Lizzy from Kuroshitsuji? Fou, Lenalee and Rhoad from D.Gray man? Ririko, Akito & Rin (or any of the FB girls), Eva, Sakura, Yuuko? :o.

This was a hard question, because there was no clear answer for me. Those females you mention are awesome, too, but I couldn't pick just one. It was easier to pick a non-manga character who stood out for me, than to choose between one of the many wonderful manga females!

Oh yeah, Lizzie is really rocking in those recent Kuroshitsuji chapters! If I had to pick a PH fave it would probably be Echo. In D.Gray-man I like Road (Rhode?Rhoad?). Tohru was my favorite from Fruits Basket. So many manga, so little time!

Ah, I see ^-^. Oh and I forgot to mention the girls in Loveless! I love Yuiko, Kouya and Yamato <3. Ah anyway, I think I understand how you feel...I have many favorite manga female characters, but I'm not sure if I could pick only one absolute favorite either...

My favorite from PH would probably be Alice (but I like all of the PH girls, and that's unusual for being me), from D.Gray man I would chose either Fou or Rhoad (however you spell her name XD), and probably Rin from FB <3.

That happens a lot with female characters. Even if they start out awesome, it rarely lasts. ):
*cries out for strong women* DDD8

The lack makes Kanda sad (no really, this is his sad face)
