Manga Recommendation: Grand Guignol Orchestra

I knew I'd enjoy the artwork in Grand Guignol Orchestra, if nothing else. But I wasn't prepared to be sucked into the story and the character relationships as much as I was. Oh, this is a Kaori Yuki creation! ^-^. I'll read this some day :D. If you like this one then I recommend God child, it's one of Yuki's most famous creations (and the one I like the most of her creations so far ^-^).

Do you know if I can read Godchild without having read its prequel, the Cain Saga (or Earl Cain)?

Yup it works, that's what I did XD. The only thing that isn't explained so much in God child is the details about some of the characters backgrounds, but I don't think it's necessary to read the Cain saga to understand and enjoy God child ^-^.

Yay Kaori Yuki! <3 I think I've read all of the volumes that were released in like three days, fallen in love with Lucille a million times...and then forgotten all about it. LOL. But I'll be on the lookout for the latest volume now! :)
