Fruits Basket. What a weird experience it was, reading 23 volumes of this manga. Even with all the androgyny, cross-dressing, ho yay and les yay that went on occasionally, it was surprisingly…heterosexual by the end. I don't know why I was surprised -- I mean, it's one of the more mainstream mangas isn't it?

( It's about a lot more than just some weird family possessed by the vengeful spirits of the Chinese zodiac... )

Hmm, I'm not so motivated towards this one, just because I've been told too much. I probably will read it though, eventually.

It was emotional, wasn't it? Tohru was probably even the only anime heroine that I didn't find annoying. :P

Indeed! And yes, I was surprised I liked Tohru as much as I did. She was surprisingly un-annoying.
