I don't know. It makes sense to me, astrologically speaking, for Pluto to fall out of favor once again. :-)

Besides, what's in a name?

I hate to say it (because Pluto is cute!), but scientifically Pluto doesn't match the qualities of the other 8 planets (which themselves fall into two distinct categories....). It shouldn't be a planet. It's a really really big comet more than it's anything. I think Dwarf Planet is a stupid name for it, but whatever. :)
