The weekend in review

• Friday was spent cranking frantically through a paper for school. While doing so, i watched some Muppet Show and more importantly, got to show the movie Rope to a few folks. Rope is one of my favorite Hitchcock movies (not that i've seen that many)--ultimately, when it comes down to it, i tend to love the Hitches that nobody's ever seen or heard of

As per the discussion at The Inn about getting people's asses to move and go get Ice Cream; I feel your pain.

I'm often the sacrificial lamb at gatherings like you describe, 'cause I'm the one that'll speak up and say "Hey, what's the plan? And I need an answer now. Are we eating as a group, are we going to the Hotel - ? 'Cause I'm hungry and tired of standing here."

Aunts get pissy, I get fed. It's a fair trade.

Sorry it made for an unpleasant end to the day. Bah! on silly people.

The thing is, we tried the "hey, what's the plan? are we going to the hotel? we are? cool, let's go." And then we'd walk a block, and then stop and repeat the process all over again. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!11
