So I haven't updated this thing in a while. Mainly because I was dealing with exams, then I didn't have a laptop for a month, then I was traveling, and then all this shit was happening and I wanted to talk about it on LJ but I would always go to my flist first and then get too caught up reading it because so many things are happening in my friends ( Read more... )

When a relative dies a slow, protracted, and inevitable death, you do pretty much go through all of your mourning during the dying process. The fact is that the person who was there tends to become the disease toward the end. All that being said, it's still awful to lose people who are close to you, but it sounds like you're honoring her by remembering her in a way she would have wanted you to.
