LOL oh god the book series sounds hilarious. I got the first book as a present a few years ago and got a few pages into it. I vaguely remember Elena comparing her appearance to a dessert and calling herself yummy and I was like TIME TO PUT THE BOOK DOWN.

Also I was so bored last night that I watched two episodes of this. My favourite part was the fact that Bing is clearly paying the CW. I laughed when Jeremy Googled Binged "vampires" because it reminded me of Twilight, and then like two scenes later the Aunt was all "I'LL BING IT" and I was like "lol Bing, no one uses you but keep dreaming".

lol the books. The fourth book is beyond tragic. Elena comes back as a vampire ghost angel from the heavens above to save Stefan and Damon from Klaus, not even kidding here.

Oh my god, this is too hilarious. Book!Stefan sounds pretty horrible and same with Damon and his Dark Princess of the Underworld lmao.

And a sword fight? Basically, LOL forever at this. I love this entry because it basically puts me off from ever approaching the series. How they managed to make a wonderful show out of this, I don't know.
