I think I mostly agree with your favourites, although I would probably rate EoT above VotD. It just... I dunno, I like it and I am fully aware that the only reason I don't is basically shipping related, but it just seems oddly placed given end-of-s4 Ten's emotional state and all that. As a one off I'd rate it extremely highly, but not as part of a whole.
Although, EoT gets lots of points for HILARIOUS CRACK.
I mostly forget The Next Doctor even exists, ngl. It is even less on my radar than Planet of the Dead is.
I concur with pretty much everything except that I think I would rank Runaway Bride above TCI. You probably picked up my stupid, unending love for Runaway Bride when we watched it. I liked TCI the first time, and I still like it now, but the most interesting parts are when the Doctor is actually conscious and that is only like... 15 of the 50 minutes or whatever. Whereas Runaway Bride is like, 45 minutes of "the Doctor and Donna are awesome" and 5 minutes of "Sarah Parish is a spider", so on the whole it comes out higher in my estimations.
That is because it was horrific. I actually feel like the gap between The Next Doctor and End of Time is HUGE and then the gap between End of Time and the other three is also huge. Oh, RTD. XD
WHAT. SHOCKING.
A lot of the plot TRB is incoherent, but then it's like... rain of fire and water and Ten being all suicidal by emo and Donna being all "Doctor, you can stop now!!" and that just makes the whole episode worth it.
I miss the tux. I don't think we've seen it since VotD. WHAT CRUEL NONSENSE IS THIS.
I don't even remember what happened in TND. I know Rosita punched someone. That was my favourite part. I know VIOLENCE IS BAD and whatever but sometimes I just want to see someone deck someone else okay. And Cyberlady was totally asking for it.
A lot of every one of RTD's plots is incoherent, I think it is unfair to single out TRB. I think other parts of my affection stem from the fact that I saw it at such a weird time, after I'd already seen a few episodes with Donna. Similarly, I really like the end of TCI, but the part in the middle I find kind of dull on rewatch. I guess if I was more attached to Nine I might like TCI more.
I do too. He wears tuxes a lot in Hamlet. You know. Just saying.
I remember the Dickens children in the factory. Mostly because I was on the floor dying of hilarity.
lol, I think your problem with TCI is mine with TRB. I like the beginning and everything after drowning spider babies, but the middle gets kind of dull. Conversely, every time I watch TCI, I'm like "...DOCTOR, WAKE UP, THE WORLD NEEDS YOU. *BITES NAILS*" It's... it's very sad. Also I love pretty much everything Harriet Jones does.
5. Voyage of the Damned. Astrid's ending skeeved me out just so much that it ruined it for me. Yeah, endings can change how I feel about entire episodes. *doesn't feel bad about that*
4. The Next Doctor. It had its cute moments, but it was fairly forgetable. But at least he wound up having Christmas dinner with people.
3. The Runaway Bride. If this was based on impressions I had on first viewings of the episodes, this would have been at the bottom. Back then Donna annoyed the shit out of me. (Soooooo glad they rounded her out for S4 instead of remaining a one-note comic character.) Although there was that lovely moment she had at the end with him. Hmmm. Might not have been on the very bottom after all.
2. The End of Time. Yeah this was completely insane plot-wise, but I was cackling through most of it. I'm not sure they wanted me to be cackling through most of it, but I found it so entertaining. It was just so...so...RTD. XD

Having said that, the tux does always win.

The BBC always hits me where I'm weakest.

I think in Pete's World, Rose has bought him many tuxes. Probably because he keeps damaging them in some way.

For my personal list... I think I'd have to watch them all again. It's been a while since I've thought about a couple of these eps.

OOH DO YOUR LIST. Pfft. You don't need to watch them again.

I'm kind of like you on the Runaway Bride. I found it annoying and boring my first time through. But it grows on you in this odd way.
Perhaps End of Time will grow on me as well. *waits for the second part*
