*Reads your post and pretends she has seen Torchwood*

I THINK THIS CHRISTMAS IS GOING TO KILL ME.

And in Doctor Who, I won't even have the comfort of being able to go: "Lol, Jack, you're a douche." I mean, I guess I could go, "Lol, Ten, you're a douche" but that will be in between all the sobbing. There might be snot. I don't think it will be pleasant.

I think Ten could kick a kitten off a cliff and I'd still sob about him regenerating. Although cats are pretty evil, so I don't know if that's a good example.

Also, I had something highly important to tell you earlier, but I can't remember if it was about getting run over by a tram, the BNP, or something else altogether.

Yeah. Also, I just happen to like Ten a lot more than Jack. :D

MAYBE IT WAS ALL THREE THINGS COMBINED?

That was just SO bleak and cynical and...wow. But hopefully it'll be a generally positive thing at the end. I mean, RTD did give a lovely sendoff to CE, right? Yeah it was sad, but still good.

Yeah. It's really getting to me. I mean, I *thought* I was fine last night, but I keep getting flashbacks to disturbing images.

There's probably no way to avoid it being sad, but I can't help but wish for unicorns and puppies.

I AM BEGINNING TO THINK I DON'T WANT TO WATCH THIS.

IT WAS PRETTY HORRIFIC. Except I inappropriately snickered when bad things happened to Jack. But it's Jack.

"You know, if I wanted to be depressed by horribly dark things, I would have watched BSG."

WELL SAID!!! That's why I started watching Doctor who. Because the Doctor and Rose were so happy... It was something so new and refreshing. And Jack was happy too and dashing and flirty on DW... God, what happened?

Yeah, I actually miss Torchwood when Jack was cuddling large flopping whales and I was too busy going "OMG WTF" to care overly much.

I mean, COE was good, but way too dark.

(Sends you the final episode of BSG in which Roslin dies and humanity kicks ass while getting their asses kicked and lots of people die)

Wait... that still doesn't really trump idiot politicians... O__O That's... impressive of Torchwood!

Did Roslin kill her own grandchild to save the world? STILL NOT AS DEPRESSING AS TORCHWOOD THEN.

Yeah. I think I'm this wigged out because I can kind of see it. Not aliens NEEDING CHILDREN FOR DRUGS, but world leaders being able to sacrifice so much to save their own skins.

I still think RTD has a thing for making children cry on Christmas.
