I'm spoiler free too, so at least we can watch each others posts in safety :)

You're safe from me, because I'm too continuously out of the loop to even find spoilers, much less reblog them.... XD

Hehe! Honestly, I'm basically there with you. But you never know with LJ! :-)

There's an LJ spoiler cut??

Yes!

I used to have clear in my mind how it's different from an LJ cut. Perhaps, if I click on an LJ cut, I'll be taken to the original post, but if I click on a spoiler cut, I stay on my f-list, or wherever I already am? I think that's it.

If you're in the Visual Editor, you'll see the LJ-cut symbol (The horizontal lines with a squigly) then you'll see a box with a squigly in it -- that is the spoiler cut.

:-)

It's fairly new, I think.

Shall make an extra effort to remember to be spoiler-aware! Not that I'm likely to have anything to spoil. XD I don't actively avoid spoilers, but I don't generally seek them out, especially in the earlier stages, where it's all uncertain rumor, so I rarely have anything particularly spoiler-ish to talk about.

I'm mostly just this neurotic about Sherlock. See, I saw the first season with no expecations whatsoever, and I thought it was basically the best thing I'd seen in any video form ever. And I realized that conversely, I'd keyed myself up for the LotR movies, and was sorely disappointed. Granted, Sherlock is by several orders of magnitude a better work of art than the LotR movies, but it occurred to me that no spoilers would mean enjoying it more.

Add to that the fact that the Sherlock fandom seems to basically hate everything that happens in the actual shows (scratching my head over that one . . .) and I said NO SPOILERS!

Also, I'm obsessive, so anything to keep me wasting time obsessing over something that hasn't happened yet, you know?

I'm avoiding anything even approaching a spoiler like the plague. There has been no real news for so long, why would I bother googling anything now? I'll wait a bit longer for the first bit of new canon, thanks. :-)
