Gah.  My dad is obsessed with The O.C.
No joke.

He went to a video store last week and randomly bought season one, and watched it when he went on some trip.  So now he's constantly telling me: "Watch the O.C., it's really good!"  And he thinks its clean and all that.  I'm just like, wait...it gets worse...much worse.
He even wanted us to watch it as

I keep trying to start a LJ policy for myself as well...but alas, it always fails. I do miss the time for drawing on the computer, and painting, and playing the oboe though. Ah, I confess, I have an LJ addiction.

ahahaha your dad and the O.C thing half made my night :D it sucks that i didn't know Joshthefreshmen's last day was on friday... i need to get him back at homecoming. so he needs to come. and i really get the thing how you forget what you want to say in front of the computer. i really didn't like that feeling.. which is one reason i stopped xanga. but anyway i like your posts :] i don't know why but i just do.

LJ policies do not work. I'm living, breathing proof.

As for quality of entires, I just encountered this problem myself. For my 2 year LJ anniversary, I went through and read a bunch of my old entires, which were, in a Mama G work, BUNK. However, as time went by they got better and better, and they continue to improve, even as we speak. So give yourself some time, and just write whatever comes naturally. Don't worry about how it looks, just put it out there. Someone (probably me :)) is reading it.

As for the OC. I think that is the cutest thing ever. I don't think I could ever watch it with my parents, if for no other reason that I don't really want to watch people making out in front of my parents. Ew, yeah?

And Joshthefreshman! (Great name, by the way) Where did he go?

Encouragement is good, I'm glad to know my BUNK (because a lot of it is) can turn into something less... bunk-ish. aww i love mama g. today we spent like twenty minutes going around the room saying where we all were from. she got all excited and she tried to guess...it was a lot of fun.

Yeah, my parents are *interesting*. In the best possible way of course. =)

And Josh transferred to Beverly Hills. =( It was so sad today without him...

lol, I'm having problems with socializing too much instead of doing what I really love, which is strange because at the same time I start feeling antisocial...

ahahaha yes that's EXACTLY how i feel. it's like, when i'm doing the "intellectual" type stuff, i start feeling a bit too nerdy and like i'm neglecting my friends, and then i be overly social and a)i want to stop and b)have a nagging voice in my head telling me to do something "productive," pshh.
