Now, this is excellent, a most intriguing portrait of your son. As it is enormously difficult to sort through the nearly infinite number of literary allusions in Joyce, so is it nearly impossible to sort through the deep complexities of the father/son thing. I admire this. It speaks volumes, as art, as history.
