I *loved* Overlord! It's goofy but fun. I got as far as the desert area, and gave up in frustration. Need to go back and grind a bit to stock up on minions and try it again at some point. Good luck!

Yeah, that's where I am at the moment: grinding away, trying to get enough minions to sacrifice in my smelter for better armor and helmet before I head out into the desert. I peeked my nose in, then left.

I wish video game designers paced things better, so that when you were ready to move on to the next adventure your power level was adequate. The most common complaint I find on line about the game is lack of a map, but that doesn't bother me nearly as much as the need to dither around with zero-level monsters for hours.
