The slot and the upped requirement go hand-in-hand, like the poll said. If someone doesn't have seven characters it shouldn't be hard to meet the requirements; the only people we've had fail out are those who were pretty much entirely afk. Peter made AC in a single day with one character and would still have made it even with the increased requirements. It's not a dire change.
i still want to say i'm INCREDIBLY APPREHENSIVE because even w/my meager 4 chars (most of which i have DEFINITIVE PLANS TO KILL OFF), the simple ~chaos of my life~ is really unpredictable? i don't know; i know i've been making AC every month regardless but it feels really incredibly disingenuous to declare hiatus every month to cover my ass JUST IN CASE everything goes to shit like it did last (this?) month. since i'm moving and trying to get a new job in the v. v. v. v. v. near future it's going to be a lot of stress where suddenly 60 comments is a lot more daunting than 30.
i am probably OVERREACTING and OVERTHINKING all of this to be sure, but i am trying really hard to fight the inevitable idle-out-of-games that i know i have a certain track record of doing ... it's just, the numbers alone are making me anxious despite a lack of experience w/them.

The thirty comment count isn't required, just to be clear. If you make one post and do one log you're covered regardless of how many comments you do/don't make. I get what you're saying, though.
We're totally cool with it if you want to just keep declaring hiatus when things get hectic IRL, since that's what the hiatus policy is for. If you feel that you're just squeaking by or it gets close to the next AC and you don't think you're going to make it, we can work something out/reconsider the policy. Until then, I'd like to see how it goes (since tbh I really don't think it'll make much of a difference; most people exceeded the comment requirement by quite a lot this last month anyway, even you and mini).
