[Stella didn't feel particularly different when she woke up. There was something that was slightly off, sure, but it wasn't anything to take note of. Perhaps it was just the melancholy feeling that came with knowing that Fenimore was still gone... Actually, Asch isn't even looking at the journal. He hasn't touched it for days- it's buried in the bottom of his pack, along with the rest of his books. They've been there since Luke left the hot springs. And Asch... is packing. Sort of. He's been absently putting one or two pieces of clothing or items in the bag every hour or so all day, never fully committing to the idea of returning to the village yet. He's comfortable here... it's quiet, peaceful, a place where he can gather his thoughts and not get hassled or upset by anyone. Even if it's lonely, it's better than being in the village and feeling just as miserable. Or more miserable, since he'd be surrounded by much happier people. ...Ugh.

He's delaying as much as possible, in that case, at the moment waiting at the edge of the spring with his feet resting in the warm water, half hidden in the natural fog of the area.]

[It had taken some time to get used to this new form. Discovering that the world felt slightly different to an Orerines was a little surprising for her - there was no longer a pull from the bodies of water around the village, and instead, it was as if there was a new type of energy from the land itself. [At first, Asch doesn't recognize her; her voice was familiar, sure, but he doesn't really know any brown-haired women who would seek him out like this. She doesn't sound like Tear, either. And because he doesn't particularly care what a stranger has to say to him - or why she even knows his name - he just ignores her call.]
