[The heat wave has been keeping Walter from simply sleeping in the forest as he ... usually does during warm weather. He still seems to dislike staying in the community buildings. The lake is a much better place to be during these nights.

So that's where he is, mulling over whether he's ready to go underwater and sleep or if he has other things he still needs to do.]
