A park, midnight.

Curled up on a bench, staring out into the dark. A piece of paper in his hands, Asher had sought a quiet place to read the words Leela had sent him. The place isolated, no one around. Just the trees and a light breeze and the scent of night flowers.

She appears by pinpoint near the museum, still not trusting herself to drive, she starts walking around, casually looking up into windows - glancing around for him. Dracula hadn't taken alot of blood - less than a blood donation to the red cross, and she was pretty much over the blood/poison in her system from biting him in her escape attempt.

Still, it freaked her out, bad.

It was the scent that caught his attention. Not Leela's sweetness but rather that sharp metallic scent. Blood. Rising, looking back as he tried to fight the old urges.

"Leela?"

Stunned shocked at seeing the woman he adored, tucking the paper into the pocket of his long coat.

"Asher?" Her head whipped around looking for him, finally catching sight of those gold metallic tresses. She waved at him, then brought her hand quickly down, hating the look of the bandages and wraps on her wrists.

She walked over to him, picking her way carefully in the darkness.

"Listen, I don't normally do this to strange guys I meet in a park at night - but could I have a hug?"

Picking up the bright patch in the dark, a furrow on his brow. Fighting not to growl, balling his hands into fists and shoving them deep in his pockets.

"I... Ma petite, I shouldn't...'

But he can refuse her nothing, pulling her into his arms and hugging her tightly.

"And what has happened this night?
