1) Seeing 'Hime in the Threat List sitll makes me D=. Even when I know you love her. Sorry, bashers have traumatized me just too much. =(

Not to mention that 'Hime being a "threat" to Ichigo/Rukia makes my darling Renji/Rukia a bit more possible, so whee for her? ;D Renji/Rukia FTW.

2) I follow the manga updates more for the whining in the PoT-related comms and my "schadenfreude" towards some manga elitists and PoT anime bashers than anything. TRUFAX, DELICIOUS TRUFAX. >D

Just ignore the bashers, hon! Seriously... they're not worth the time. There's plenty of fans for both sides and I swear most of the wank is inflated in its importance.

I think you and I must have terribly different tastes, though, because I don't like Renji/Rukia either. ^^''' They're too like brother and sister to me, but the series is so vague you can do what you like with it, really. There is some awesome art for them, though, when I'm on my main computer I'll rustle up a link for you.

I think once Konomi started introducing more schools after Rikkai I gave up. WHY RUIN IT?!?

Edit: I don't mean to insinuate anything by saying they're too like brother and sister, by the way! ;_; Just in case you got the wrong idea! What I mean is that I can't find much spark in their dynamic, that their relationship seems too homely and comfortable to me. This hasn't stopped other people finding that spark, though. ;3 Personal tastes, baby, personal tastes! :D

As long as hime is not paired with Ishida, I could care less. It's clear to everyone that Ishida wouldn't have the slightest idea what he's supposed to do with a vagina.

And in my world, Renji belongs to one person. *siiiigh* No females, please.

Oh, what? What if it's Gin/Orihime/Ishida? He's still on the bottom. For obvious reason.

I lost interest in the manga once it hit the Nationals arc, actually. The only chapters I've read more than once since then are the GP chapters, yakiniku, and Fuji losing to Shiraishi and kicking Niou's ass (because I love Fuji like that XD).

Konomi just has a way of ruining it, doesn't he. He should date a TeniPuri fangirl who'll get him to write properly. X__________x

HAHAH, love that icon. :D

I don't think Konomi ever really knew what he was doing. He got distracted by his own drawings of arses.

Gotta show some love for my D1~ ^_^ Even if Yagyuu!Niou was a complete bastard and knocked Eiji out. Hey, it gave us raring-mad!Oishi (anger is a very sexy emotion on him :D), so... ♥

I think the only thing Konomi ever did right was inadvertently inspire fangirls to twist the story to our own happy endings. XDDD

Orihime = total threat. Actually, when we came out of the Diamond Dust Rebellion just this afternoon, my friends and I got to bitching about how she doesn't even compare to Rukia, and wtf Ichigo/Orihime pairing? I have no problem with her having one-sided love for Ichigo, she and Ishida can both mope together how Kurosaki doesn't wuv them, but if Ichigo ever looks at her as more than a friend than I'll be reaching for the spork ( ... )

Oooh, how was it?! Was there a lot of Ukitake in it? Please say yes, even if it's not true. <3
Orihime's a fine girl. Just not with Ichigo... it's too easy, there's no spark, they're not very good for eachother. Rukia, on the other hand, is just so complimentary for Ichigo. They mellow eachother out.

And you're so right. The doctor should not be sexual, end of story.

Hahah, I like them getting together after PW2 because they're still really sparky. In fact, I sort of see it right after the last case because Phoenix is so frazzled and Edgeworth sort of knows what to do now, he's been through his personal hell and back. It could be after T&T, but that's more mellow, I suppose, more tinged with a bit of sadness in light of their respective loved ones and their cases.

You know, I saw the final case in a different light, one that made the P/E pairing all the more real for me. I too thought that Iris might be a threat, especially when in Edgeworth's POV and when he's subtly pushing Phoenix to her. But at the end of the case, I saw it more as a friend trying to help another gain some closure. Edgeworth knew of Dahlia and he also knew that Iris was hiding a big secret about her relationship with Phoenix. As the caring friend he came to be, I think it was well within his right to try to resolve that seven year thorn in Phoenix's heart ( ... )

As for Phoenix/Edgeworth, PW3 ruined any chance of a hot, passionate hook-up for me, but it didn't ruin the romantic possibility.

That's so true. I was saying to tayles above that after PW3 a potential hookup is so much more mellow and tentative... and I personally prefer a few more sparks. ;3 And as for Hobohodo, I can't believe it either. It makes the whole thing really strange... if you think of a hookup after PW3, you really wonder where Edgeworth was at that time, because even without a romantic angle, it's hard to believe he wouldn't have tried to help Phoenix, particularly with his own past and rumors of evidence fixing. I just don't get it. It's not like Phoenix was disbarred for that big a reason, anyway! Grargh.

I shall hop to reading that. :D

I actually would have liked a hot hook-up after 1-4, when Edgeworth was the one needing all the mental help. But then Phoenix would have had to take charge; it's not that I can't believe he wouldn't, it just that I can't believe he would at that time, because he hadn't gone through anything himself. After PW2 would be great though, since I really like the hurt/comfort aspect of it and I think Phoenix needed reassurance. Either way, I continue to think that the romantic potential is there, and I'm happy for that ( ... )
