I should be happy about how cute and sweet and light this all was, but in fact, I am mostly happy about the funeral planning, being in the middle of "The Polish Way" (the older edition of that same book) right now and spending a lot of time snerking at all the bling that being in the szlachta seemed to involve. That said, Poland's plot for dealing with Russia was just absolutely perfect. The taxi ride was hilarious, at least for th readers. And wondering how much of a diplomatic incident it would cause if he shrieked like an outraged nun is a fantastic mental state. Hah!

I need a Poland icon. Here, have my other fabulous crossdresser.

Hee, Poland's funeral plans are, like, way too complicated to explain over the phone. He has charts. Tactical charts. (Lithuania: Stopit. It's morbid). And the szlachta! Have you come across the deliberately loose golden horseshoes yet? Fabulous.

Lithuania just wonders how he hasn't gone prematurely grey, given his neighbours . . .

Liet just pats him on the head and says, "Yes, Poland. Of course, Poland" when Poland talks a bit too long about all the cool stuff he's got for the ponies this week . . .
