Well, cleolinda said she identified with Little Women's Jo March, but it was always Meg, for me. I've tried to make it all the way through Little Women I don't know how many times. I've never succeeded. I tip my hat to your superior mettle!

Interesting! I'm going to have to answer that one too--I just don't know who, or what!

If I was going to go the Little Women way I might choose Meg too or even Amy. Beth doesn't personally annoy me; what annoys me is the way that LMA wrung every last possible drop of pathos out of her interminable illnesses. Not enough drama? Beth's dying again! I swear she's only allowed to die once the audience is good and sick of her.

I always liked Amy, too, especially once she got all worldly and sophisticated - but that's the key, for me, is that I liked her and I wanted to be her (at least her older self), whereas I am already very much like Meg. :)
