Yeah, kinda with you there. The "Prom Princess" (we chose that title over 'queen') of the class one above me was openly gay. That was five years ago. Is there something I'm missing?

Well, in this case the Prom Queen was an openly gay guy, but I still don't think this is newsworthy.
