Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto has finally ended. Sitting here thinking about it, I have an odd yet satisfied feeling. I would still definitely recommend it to anyone interested in Japanese history, kabuki, and good old-fashioned sword fighting (plus assassins!). ( I think I'm even a little sad to see it go. )

Yeah, I liked it too. I did the darndest thing though - started with the final episode and then worked backward.

so i finally got around to watching the last ep.... i've got like a billion questions tho... like was soutetsu descended from the lord? is that why it was his destiny to destroy the world? and how was the chief at the orphanage if the old guy had been taking care of her since her parents died in the fire? also, was kanna only obsessed with her cuz she looked like his mother? or was there some other reason?

i liked the ending but i need someone to explain it to me -_-

I'll do my best, but I have to warn you, the historical aspect of this show confused the hell out of me, mostly because I'm too damn lazy to look this stuff up ( ... )

oh boy...this has got all sorts of plot bunnies going for me... if kakunojo was adopted by her parents couldn't it be entirely possible that the reason she looks like kanna's mom is that she might actually be his half sister?? oh the possibilities!!

also i do remember the pot thing! but i don't remember the connection to soutetsu's family... dammit i deleted the first half of the series from my comp cuz it was taking up too much space -_-;;

OMG, you are a life saver! I've started doing research yesterday for it and there is like barely anything good on the series. Thanks so much for the link! ♥

Oooo, and nice connection to Kanna and Kakunojo! That IS really interesting! (And great fic material! *NUDGENUDGE*)
