Perhaps this place isn't so bad after all.

[smile because, aww, if Cain is happy, he's happy.]
It is a touch strange, though. I had never been to the New World before. Nor to the future, I suppose, if one can believe what the residents here say.

I'm aware of that. The clothing alone....
[ A quiet sigh]

As have mine. I did receive Disraeli's necklace in the mail not long ago though.

That's great! ...I mean, it's not because he's here, but now you two can help each other.

His presence here is something of a relief. I would not like to think of him being in hell elsewhere.

How can you just accept this place?

I do not like this place, although it is preferable to where I should be. The arrival of my servant makes residing here a little less frustrating, though.

..I-I don't like the place I came from either, but it didn't take things away from me!

I wish my things returned as well, but being alive is definitely preferable to the alternative...

I'm not sure it's adjusting so much as being relieved to see someone I know well.

He's been my servant for years. There's not much else to say about it, really.

Ah, well. Sometimes nice things come in strange packaging.

And sometimes the nice packaging conceals things better left untouched.
