So, I've downloaded a couple of movies that I'd like to burn onto DVDs so I can watch them on the DVD player downstairs

Veronica has some skill in this area. It involves a program from the internet and a little time. The issue is that one needs to know what formats the DvD player does play - both sound and vision.
