It wasn't so much a religious experience at the time so much as "HUHWHA DID THAT REALLY JUST HAPPEN" and also a little bit of "DAMN I LOVE THIS SONG" but yesssss. :DD
It kind of sucked when I got back to my building and it was three am and I had to wait fifteen minutes for the doorman to come back and let me into the garage though. ://

lol see, that confluence of "shit is awesome" while moving through that void of night is what I call "a religious experience". it does nothing to make me think there is a god but does everything to give me wonder about life and the world.

IT IS MAYBE ROUGH BUT IT'S NOT FULL OF ARTIFACTS AND MAYBE EVEN KIND OF PRETTY AND THAT'S A WIN IN MY BOOK. \o/

I have to admit that the shooting stars on the dark midnight road to the tune of Come Sail Away was so hilariously over the top and surreal that I was mostly HAHAHHAHA DID THAT ACTUALLY JUST HAPPEN?? rather than awed by the world, but any ONE of those individual components has that wondrous effect on me by itself generally. Especially stars. They always fill me with wonder and joy, and they were so clear that night. ♥
