this is so lovely. I couldn't imagine a lovelier Aang/Katara piece, I really couldn't. And it makes so much sense - he looks up to her and she moves forward by herself so much! eeeee. somehow this is so happy and sad at the same time. <333

(I actually have this whole theory about how the Air nomad bloodline gradually reappears over the generations and the mountains start repopulating very slightly within the Gaang's lifetime. They can figure out how to make more gliders!)
<333 Thank you! Looking back over it, I think there are some clunky sentences, but I'm really glad to hear it still carries the emotional sense I was trying to convey. It is bittersweet, but they always manage to meet each other where it counts. <3

I really really really want the Air nomads to come back! but apparently all air nomads are airbenders, and the whole point is that Aang is the last airbender right? well... that's what fanfiction is for, anyway :))
they always manage to meet each other where it counts. - this is wonderful, and so true to the show (like when Aang is like, Katara be my girlfriend and kiss me! and Katara is like, But there's a war on and this has got to wait!), and so grown up. man this show is the most sophisticated kids show like ever.
