Eon is indeed quite surprised, quirking an eyebrow. "Ren... Uh..." Naturally, the hug is returned. "To what do I owe the honor?"

Ren backs away, smiling, then fidgeting. "It's, uhm, a, uh... t-thank you. I... I know what you did back there."

"Well... You know me." He gave her a small smirk, accompanied by a shrug of the shoulders. "I've always been good at playing the bad guy... I figured I'd use it to help out, mm?"

"But... that wasn't just it, either... was it?" She looks down. "You really don't like him... do you?"
