I'm not sure?

I know they're...people who look different or can do weird stuff, but I don't know how different you have to be to be a demihuman.

Not everything! Grownups do a LOT of weird stuff, but a lot of things people do do make sense.

They're like humans but some look a lot different that humans do. Some of them though look exactly like humans!

...hn. Basically, they fall into two groups. The first group includes humanoids that, for whatever reason, don't actually look human. This group ranges from humans who simply have, say, pointy ears, to anthropomorphic animals.

"Anthropomorphic" means that they have a combination of animal and human features, generally leaning more towards the animalistic end of the spectrum in appearance. They also have human intellects, which, depending on your point of view, is a good or a bad thing.

The second group includes those demihumans that are almost completely indistinguishable from humans save for the fact that they are gifted with powers humans generally don't have, such as the ability to manipulate elements or fly without having any sort of visible means of doing so. Of course, members of the first group can also have powers similar to these.

"Demihumans" iz de term dot normal folks uses for dose of us dot, through birth or odder circumstances, are more den human. I have sharp teeth und claws, can track by scent, und zee in de dark. Und dot's just de start of it.
