I know no one on my flist really watches The Legend of the Seeker but that season/series finale was probably the most intense 45 minutes of my life.  The time I got attacked by a Great Dane was pretty intense....

Nope.  This TOTALLY beats that.  I think it was good and I think there was closure, but I'm too stressed out to really know.  D:

Yeah when I was little. I was REALLY REALLY lucky though - he went for my face and got my arm instead. And I didn't even need any stitches whereas the other people that had gotten attacked by this dog on previous occassions needed 60+ sitches. I was *terrified* of dogs for a long time but somehow just got over that, which is good, because I love animals too much lol.

You were really fortunate. It's terrible that the dog tried to attack you. I find, I just have a general unease around dogs.

Yeah no I was SO lucky - sometimes, but very rarely, I think how bad it *could* have been and want to throw up a little bit. I mean a Great Dane is the size of a pony lol so having something like that attack you... yes, I was VERY lucky. I don't remember how I got over my fear of dogs - I was TERRIFIED of dogs for a long time, but then suddenly I wasn't anymore. Which was a good thing because I worked in a vet's for 3 years lol and dealt with dogs way more terrifying than a Great Dane. Most of them were nice dogs though - the angry cats were FAR more terrifying. I think cats can do more damage lol.

I KNOW RIGHT?!! I DON'T KNOW!!!!!!! IT'S SO COMPLETELY FANTASTIC!!! I watched it last night around 11 and couldn't sleep until 2 because it was so intense it made me want to go run a marathon.

YEAH!!! I liked the first season but i think this one was much better and that finale, so many things happening in just one episode and Cara and Kahlan, oh gosh, what a crush i have on them!!

I'm so bummed that it got canceled and I was TERRIFIED there wouldn't be closure (they cut it close!). I need them both to be my complete best friends in the world like yesterday.

Bit late to the party, but just had to add how epic the season finale was. This show is totally amazing. I am still hanging out for a season 3. Hopefully if enough of us involved in the season 3 campaign keep hassling the networks, they may come to their senses!!

(p.s. sorry about the Great Dane. I got bitten on the face by a Rottweiler, so I know how scary it can be)

I was doing a search on legendoftheseeker. One of my friends is new to lj, so I was trying to show her how to navigate the site and your journal entry popped up. She is a huge Seeker fan too, so was wanting to see posts about the show. :)

And the show is still fantastic. 2 seasons is not enough!

I just started my friend on the show and she was VERY disappointed to learn it got canceled - I felt bad for getting her addicted when there's no more after season 2. I am going to have to read the books to find out what really happens in their relationship!
