Not really. All they'd have to do was phone in the tip and swipe his credit card for the tickets. Considering the amount of effort they'd have to go through just to brainwash the guy to accept Carpenter's identity, that's small potatoes.

thank you for this. that bit of math!fail was driving me nuts.
She was 10 when dad left, they'd been in the apartment 10 years, but it never occurred to me that they might have stayed in the house for a few years. XD

I knoooooow! Apparently, when you lose the ability to spell SciFi correctly, you also lose the ability to COUNT! So I found a work around ;P
