when i read this my mind just automatically went back the Dan Brown's new book that i got last year. mind you, when i read about the part where Robert Langdon got thrown into the same machinery, there was this internal monologue thing and i was 'suffocating' like whoa just reading it.
and you putting Jim through the same thing is like.. well i wouldn't blame Jim for thinking he's dead. i'd like to think Bones had something to do with triggering him to 'lie' to himself about being dead though. just seems that Bones' the only one consistent in prodding him to live, so to speak.
