Oh it WAS Doomsday music? Oh great. That was bugging me.

Oh, fantastic. Now I'm even more convinced Rose is going to die at the end of this.

RTD said that killing Rose is off was never an option. He said it wasn't what this show was all about.

(Oh, no, it was just about heartbreak and leaving people stranded on a beach, sobbing their heart out and no ILUs.)

Still, I don't think Rose is going to die. I think.

You know what I hate above all else?
Foreshadowing. Especially when it involves songs ending and Doomsday music.

I don't think RTD will kill off Rose. But I do think he'll regenerate the Doctor. Which I really, really don't want.

Otherwise, I enjoyed the episode. I love the Ood.

It'll be interesting to see how that works out, considering that DT *is* in the specials.

Not to say that it couldn't be done. But I'm very, very intrigued.

Yeah. I'm overall quite, quite nervous. Although I'm sure the Eleventh Doctor will be just as amazing. I was heartbroken when Christopher Eccleston left, but I've quite fallen in love with David Tennant. I'm not so much worried about a new Doctor, but the possibility of the D/R ship sinking completely.

Why?

As long as people enjoy shipping the Doctor and Rose, the ship doesn't sink.

Hmmmm. This is the second ep in a row that I have quibbles about the pacing. Perhaps it's 'cause it's been new writers writing these eps. [ponders]

But anyway! Some very nice moments in this ep, and this is one that I definitely feel like I have to watch again, to fully take it in.

Plus, another reference to vanishing bees! And "your song is ending soon"! And Donna calling the Doctor on his pot shot! Very very good stuff. :-)
