This weekend, I broke my father's only big coffee mug via careful application of liquid pressure.

In a galaxy quite nearby, plottwist13 and I were discussing Making Money, and I brought up something that had bothered me for some time. The fruit was the following theory:

The most important line of Making Money, as it turns out, was totally unrelated to the plot and, indeed, anything but Vetinari's One True Love. )

fanfiction, speculation, discworld, fanart

it will involve drunken crossword solving

Consider it read. Why aren't you writing this yet?

Also: LOL for the fanart in your chemistry/physics notes!!!
It takes me right back, although I used to keep notebooks for doodling (still have them, too!)...

I AM writing it even as we speak.

We aren't actually speaking, of course, and I am not in fact writing it at this instant, but I have half the dialogue done, thanks to a crazed chat with Twist! YAY!

Doodles. I loveses them. Having notebooks for them separately would feel... wrong. Chemical backdrops add Authenticity! :D

You appear to be frivolously splitting hairs.
*severe stare*

But well done for getting on with it!

I am nothing if not frivolous about my hair-splitting. :D

And - we, I should say - are indeed getting on with it. Slowly.

I can't do legs, let alone ruby tights. I suppose I could have added feathers, but then I might have fried in the pencil-lead stare, which would have been a shame. For me. :D

THE PAIRING IT COMES.

Nifty. I didn't know you drew aswell as writing. I'm finding it difficult getting the concept of Vetinari and relationship into one head at the same time - I charge you with putting the two together! In more than one meaning of that clause.
But, I notice, no further mention of the ex-coffee mug. It sounds like an early A-level physics practical that went a bit wrong; long story...

:D Vetinari luuuuurve. Have you really not encountered it until now? It's (unfortunately) a pretty popular theme in Discworld fanfiction, all thiings considered. I did not start it. You cannot pin it on me!

Ahem. We do not speak of the ex-coffee mug. References in the titles, yes. And nothing more.

By "Charge with", I didn't mean I was blaming you, I meant I was charging you with the task of doing so.
