I have a lot of favorites that I reread. Those are generally the books I buy copies of. I can't afford my reading habit, the library is my friend. I do buy books that I can't get through the library. I haven't succumbed to online books yet, I need to hold the book in my hand. Kindle doesn't quite give me the same feeling.
Ditto and also likewise. Books are like old friends... I like to visit regularly.
Also, every time I read a book, I'm entirely lost in the story. If I lift my head and think about it, I could tell you what happens next and all about the plots and sub-plots, but while I'm reading, I'm *in* the story...which is why I tend to read books cover to cover without interuption.
I was spoiled in that working at Value Village, a thrift store, I got 50% off books and given my weakness for them....I ended up buying a lot. My sister would get mad every time I brought more home; she was oddly displeased with the prospect of the apartment resembling a library or book store in number of books/shelves for them. Topped by gifts of books or gift cards for book stores, I've ended up with a great many books, the bulk of which remain unread. Sacrilege, I know, but I really mean it when I say my intake was greater than I could keep up with. lol
