I absolutely LOVED this chapter, omg! I was roused out of bed by constant pinging on my comp, by someone who was determined to flood me with spoilers before I had a chance to read it. (Related note: LJ cut for spoilers, pretty please? ;_;

Young Byakuya wth all that hot emotion flying around freely is just so cute and and... god, how on earth did he go from that to the cold man we know today? Did he take his elevation to family head &/or captain Very Seriously? Was he less reserved before Hisana died? Ohh, I want to know!

This has to be the best chapter in a looooong time. Every page was EPIC WIN. gogo's love for Yoruichi continues to grow and grow... The boob-attack was pure awesome. Pulling out Bya's hair-tie, stopping by the Kuchiki estate just to mess with him... She is just everything.

Creepy Harry Potter!Aizen chatting w. creepy cheeky-cherub-faced-killer!Gin over a freshly butchered body is squee-worthy in and of itself.

Yoruichi is fantastic. I think she's making nice with Byakuya because they'll be working together for a long time once he takes the family seat (in theory, anyway, they don't know things are about to get turned upside down). It's good to see that things were nice for some people back in the day. :)

Aizen and ittybittymurdering Ichimaru is a match made in Hell. I always believed Ichimaru was evil to the core, and I'm so glad to see he's been that way for a long time. It's much more fun if a villain is actually evil, and not just "my mother never loved me, woe!".
