Nice bit here. I like the almost silliness to this. And of course Jack is going to try what he can with the Doctor. Not very nice of the Doctor to tease him like that...

They all need a silly break and I always like breaking up serious stuff with funny moments.

When it comes to Jack, I always get a little cross at the Doctor so there's a chance I'm not being fair to him...

You nailed one of the prime reasons I have with Ten as written by Davies. I think the Tenth Doctor can be incredibly callous towards his companions - unless their Saint Rose - and for reasons that don't always jive. I was furious with how the Last of the Time Lords ended and the way he treated Martha and Jack.
