Quicklog it is then \o\~godsmajestyNovember 9 2009, 23:02:24 UTC
[He slowly crawls off his tiger's back- who insisted he ride on for the relatively short trip to his sister's lodgings- and knocks on the door. Stigmata shifts Subaru to one arm. He's not exactly thrilled to be lending his cat out to anyone, but this was his sister after all.]

[The rat, officially dubbed Hoard, makes a break for it as soon as Grace looks toward the door and away from where she had him cornered. Somehow still managing poise and dignity, she grabs the rat by the tail and held it up.]
Dis bullshit, woman! [She glares at the creature.] Thinkin' you kin jus' grab my tail lik dat. It's right unfair!
Did I claim that this was fair? You realize you owe me two coins and a bit of jewelry? You will not leave until you return it.
[She shakes him slightly.]
Was dis? I never stoled nothin' from a scorchkettle lik you! Where de watch? Lemme go!
Believe me when I say that a watch would be the least of your worries, rat.
Me name's Hoard. You said so yerself.
I do not care. You will find your stolen goods and return them this instant.
[She walks toward the door and opens it. There is still an air of irritation. Her eyes drift from the ride to the cat in his arms.]
Ah, Stigmata. I cannot say what help this may be, but I thank you all the same. Perhaps it will be just the right sort of discipline.

[His first thought is "that's a big rat". He instantly becomes worried for his cat, because the thing with its tail between Grace's fingers did not look like something to be messed with.
Subaru, however, squirms in his grip.] ... I think I'll let my cat speak for himself.
[He squirms more, flinging himself around as the cat enters Grace's house. She moves aside and shuts the door to prevent the cat from escaping.]
Subaru, was it?
[She holds the rat above the cat's face.]
Hey-hey, lady, yer not gonna let me down are you? Imma a good un, I swear sit if you like! Swear it on my old man's grave!
[She looks over at Stigmata and kneels down.]
When I see my things returned, Hoard, the cat will vanish from my housing. Should they disappear again, I will beg to impose myself on my brother a second time. Or perhaps I will acquire a cat to stay here as well.
Dis ain't fair! I got a good life aheada me!
[She lets the rat's tail go and it thumps to the ground, racing off to find cover.]
[He prods Subaru, but the encouragement isn't exactly needed. His cat races across the floor right after Grace's rat. He knows she has been having a conversation with it- it is very clear- but for some reason he cant hear the rat's voice.
He'll let it go for now though. He doesn't want the tiger to be waiting outside for too long.]
[to be honest, he feels a little sorry for the rat. But he's the one who offered to let his cat roam free.] You're welcome. I'll be back to pick him up.
It's Stigmata.

[He's honestly surprised that she's actually smiling. But he wont knock it- maybe it wont happen again.] See you.
