The Chinese silver medalists (Pang/Tong) took my breath away with their free skate. Utterly flawless. Pure magic! (And that awesome arrangement of music from "Man of La Mancha" by Joe Hisaishi certainly helped, too!)

Sounds like such a great time! I miss going to Kinokuniya!!! I've never gone with a fellow fangirl, unfortunately. That would definitely be awesome. I've just gone there with a couple of other friends. I would slowly make my way over to the idol mags when they were off looking at other things. I don't think they understand the depth of my obsession. lol And I don't think I want them to either.

Sounds like you had fun. There's no Kinokuniya in Toronto, but I've been to one in New York, and I went crazy over the idol mags.

Glad you had a nice time! And I agree, it's hard not to buy tons of cute, useless things. Every time I go to Kinokuniya in NYC I always buy something from their stationery section. XD

The pairs figure skating was awesome! I liked the pair that won the silver, too. I missed the short program for the couple that won gold; I really wanted to see that because it must have been nearly perfect with the score they got. O_O I can't wait for the female figure skating; that's my favorite!
