I know how it is when you have someone who is confiding to you about their past. You don't know what to do or what to say, whether you should stay quiet or say something every now and then. You end up playing it by ear and hoping you don't mess up, but sometimes you do. If she didn't mean any harm, then I'm sure she was only doing what she thought was best. Perhaps try opening up another time now that she knows to wait until you are finished to respond. It's hard to talk about something difficult and some prefer to have you talk as well, while others can't finish unless there is absolute silence and no interruptions to cause them to turn back. She didn't know which category you belonged in, so I'm sure she is very sorry. *hugs*
