Do Hard Things

My good friend Kerra got me a book for my birthday called Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris. I didn't get into the book straight away, but ever since I did, I have been challenged and excited on a very deep level. I highly encourage YOU to read it, even if you are not a teenager. I haven't read the whole book yet, but God has taught me a lot ( Read more... )

I love Alex and Brett Harris! Their conferences are awesome! Have you seen their discussion forums? Their blog? Full of more awesomeness. I haven't bought the book yet, though I was able to preview the first chapter. Their ministry is wonderful.

I had never looked at any of their online stuff at all until I got the book, actually! I still haven't looked at much, but I really want to =) I've read Joshua Harris' "I Kissed Dating Goodbye"... I thought that was really good, too.
I bet their conferences really are amazing!

You might like The Modesty Survey. They actually have a whole series of modesty posts in their sidebar at the blog, but the modesty survey was awesome. David did a fantastic job coding it. The chivalry series (also on sidebar) was good, too. It was awesome to hear the guys talk about it afterwords. Who knew so many guys would step in for a girl being bothered. ;)

Joshua Harris has great books. I think his lust book is my favorite.

Oh, awesome! I haven't visited it in a while, but I remember when I first discovered TheRebelution blog/forums I was really encouraged and challenged by the content there. Lots of good stuff. Haven't read the book, but it sounds awesome. :)

Be blessed. ♥
