I was trying to imagine how this was made, until the last image loaded. The "brands" would have taken so long to make, even if you were handy at welding. Nice hand-made paper, too.

Keep 'em coming, godforesaken. I just wish I had anything remotely as interesting at my work, which resembles a Dilbert strip most days. :)

yes! that's what i mean by deceptive simplicity. it's one of the most labor-intensive books we own, but it's hard to appreciate until you actually see how it was made. we have other books by him (none quite as great as this, in my opinion) but many of them use unconventional or labor-intensive methods that, again, are not necessarily transparent.
